Finally ‘alive’ in 2008, Goodfellas which consists of Aizam on drums, Bulost and Pjoe on guitars, Atta on bass, and Epul on vocals, has been formally established. Initially started as regular jamming compatriots, we took a big step forward to show our ideas on music when Zam joined in the middle of 2006. Unfortunately both guitarists had to continue their studies overseas so they never had a chance to regroup until summer 2008.

Back in Malaysia, we gathered and have collected all the materials that we have crafted throughout the void left in between, despite working hard on our studies. 'Goodfellas' is not just a name, it is an idea of representing a community of people within our local population which includes us, our close friends, our beloved fans, as well as the ones who have always lived by the name of god, love and peace. Our ideas covers every range that is possible, including about God, love, family, war, relationships and to the happenings in every day’s life. And as fellow Malaysians, we never overlook our root by using Bahasa Melayu as one of our medium to convey our thoughts, despite using English in most, just for the balance of integrity.

We are here not to prove anything, nor do we come to show disapproval; we are here to have enjoyment with our music, make more friends and spread the words of peace and respect.
